Our client, with a beautiful property in Kensington, is seeking a Weekend Housekeeper to join their small team of household staff.

Typically, it is just the principal in residence, but she does have grown-up children who visit, and occasional guests also – there are two cats so you must be pet-friendly.

Duties include:

• All aspects of hands-on high-level housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, and organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Polishing and care of surfaces such as granite and marble, along with silver and brass
• Organisation of dry cleaning
• Changing bed linen & remaking beds
• Breakfast set-up
• Taking in deliveries
• Cat care – feeding/changing litter
• Running errands and ad-hoc duties

Candidate requirements:

• Detail-oriented, hardworking, and experienced working within a private household
• Happy to stay overnight at the property to house sit when the principal travels (approx. 1-2 weekends per month but this isn’t definite)
• Pet-friendly
• Able to manage your time efficiently and work autonomously

Working days: Friday to Monday
Working hours: 7.00am–3.00pm, 8.00am–4.00pm, 9.00am–5.00pm, depending on the schedule of the family
Salary: £20-£25 gross per hour – a flat fee will be discussed for any overnight house sitting
