Our client, a professional couple, who split their time between Europe and London, are seeking a Travelling Housekeeper/Cook to ensure the high level of cleanliness and organisation within all their homes – the ability to cook interesting and tasty dishes on a daily basis for the couple is also required.

Due to the role being based in the South of France the majority of the time, the ability to speak at least conversational French would be required.

Duties include:

• All housekeeping duties
• Ironing and laundry
• Running errands
• Keeping stock of fridge/cupboards
• Cooking daily meals for the couple
• Handing household bills – computer literacy would be essential
• Liaising with UK and France based PAs

All residences are high spec, low maintenance and minimalist – a Full Driving Licence would be required to enable you to run errands etc in all locations.

Candidate requirements:

• Willing and excited by the prospect of travelling with the client
• Hardworking, experienced, reliable, and self-motivated
• Friendly with a sense of humour
• Confident and imaginative Cook
• Pet friendly – the couple have an Australian Shepherd
• Full driving licence with own car (driving only required in South of France), valid passport, and non-smoker

Accommodation will be provided across all properties, this will always be at the same high standard and is separate and private from the main residence – utility bills are covered. 

Working days: Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work may be required but this would be agreed ahead of time when guests are due.

Working hours: Candidates must be confident in managing their time & duties – breakfast & lunch is to be prepared and then there will be a break in the day, returning to work to prepare the evening meal.
