Our client, who will be staying in a Swiss Ski Resort at the beginning of next year, is requiring a Temporary Housekeeper/All-Rounder to assist throughout their stay.  The position will be for 2 months from 7th January until 7th March.

The chalet is an apartment with 3 bedrooms, approximately 180 sq metres on one floor.  It will be for 2 main principals and their daughter who will visit on the weekends. 

Duties to include:

• Serving and hosting mealtimes
• Keeping kitchen and rooms clean and tidy
• Laundry & Ironing – linens, towels, and Ski clothing
• All traditional housekeeping duties
• Managing household upkeep and organisation, ensuring the house is always tidy and well-maintained
• Overseeing the care of delicate garments and handling clothes
• Prepare the table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Basic cooking for lunches and light evening preparations
• Clean up after breakfast, lunch, & dinner
• Preparing light lunch and evening meals
• Answering the door for deliveries
• Cleaning and tidying
• Laundry and ironing
• Organising the home

Candidate requirements:

• Be an EU citizen or have the right to work in Switzerland
• Verifiable references
• Experience within a similar role
• Someone positive and with a happy disposition
• Someone who can fit in with a busy household
• Proactive and good attitude
• Fluent English preferred
• Self-employed in France, and able to invoice the client directly

Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 8.30am-7.30pm with a 2 hour lunch break.
Accommodation: Self-contained with separate entrance – bedroom and bathroom
Salary: £4,500 gross per month
