Our HNW client, with a 3-bedroom apartment in Highgate, is looking for a friendly and hardworking Temporary Live-in Housekeeper/Cook whilst they search for a permanent member of staff.  The family consists of a couple with a 10 year old girl, and a small dog. They would love someone who is happy to get stuck in with a helpful attitude.

The position will start on 2nd January for an initial period of a month, which could get extended depending on the permanent search.  It is worth noting that they are open to a temporary to permanent contract should the initial period be successful.

Duties to include:

  • All housekeeping duties
  • Overseeing some childcare as needed, for example walking the child to her friend’s house or school
  • Occasional babysitting for the child (10 year old girl)
  • Cooking simple family meals, mainly dinner and occasionally lunch for the little girl
  • Family laundry and ironing
  • Daily dog walking (a small friendly dog)
  • Responding to the ad hoc requests of the principals as needed

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working within HNW households
  • Attention to detail, and able to manage your time effectively
  • Pet and child friendly
  • A confident Cook, able to cook family style dishes
  • An up-to-date DBS

Working days and hours: 5 days a week, to include a day on the weekend, 7.30am – 7.30pm, with a 2 hour break throughout the day
Accommodation: You will have a separate floor, with a bedroom, bathroom, small living area, and kitchenette
Salary: Please present hourly expectation
