Our clients, a busy professional couple, are looking for a qualified Rota Nanny/Governess for their 4.5 year-old girl.

We are searching for someone who is familiar with the British curriculum/teaching methods, and has background in teaching. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified educator with several years of relevant experience and a good understanding of child development – experience within a private family environment is very important.

The ideal candidate will also be sporty and dynamic, with good creativity. Their daughter is very active and takes part in a lot of extracurricular activities – music, ballet, gymnastics, swimming etc.

A Spanish speaking Nanny/Governess would be preferred by this family, as you will be required to speak and teach Spanish to the little girl. All your general Nanny duties will apply, and will be responsible for the following:

• Physical / social development
• Attending to educational needs
• Teaching & improving the child’s Spanish language 
• Developing reading and writing skill
• Participate in sporting activities

This is a 1 month on, 1 month off rota role, providing 24/7 care. Accommodation will be provided whilst on rota.

The family have a team of domestic staff to ensure the smooth running of their household. You will also be working in rotation with another Nanny - so it is key that you have good communication skills and are a team player.

It is a MUST that you possess the following:

• Native/Fluent Spanish speaker
• Currently based in the UK
• Understand the UK curriculum
• Firm but fair approach
• Strong/confident swimmer
• Willing to travel - the family travel excessively through the holidays
• Glowing reference
• DBS checked

Location: St John's Wood, London

Contract Length: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Children: 1 Child – 4.5 year old girl (please note the family have an additional older child who has his own Nanny)

Working Days/Hours: 24 hours – 1 month on, 1 month off 

Accommodation: Separate bedroom with private bathroom

Salary:  This will be in line with experience
