Our VIP client, with a large, high-profile residence in Jordan, requires a full-time Private Senior Speciality Chef - specialising in International Cuisines; with the ability to prepare a wide range of meals and dishes.

Cooking International Cuisines for 6 family members, functions and banquets ,you will ensure that all food meets the highest restaurant quality standards, and is served on time to the clients. You will need to plan/update/review the menu daily with the team, and design the plating presentation for each dish including client tastings.

Duties:

• Culinary Skills - Versatility in a variety of International cuisines, understanding diverse cooking techniques and ingredients
• Organisation & Time-Management - Strong ability to organise large-scale catering events and ensure timely service
• Enthusiastic about exploring and experimenting with global flavours and techniques
• Enforce best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen as well as incorporating all feedback from family and Butlers to make improvements, or resolve issues at all times in the role. This includes reporting all kitchen repairs and monitoring and maintaining a safe food environment at all times and keeping to the food safety guidelines
• Responsible for the training and education of employees on new menu items and changes in procedures for current menu items; monitor and hold staff accountable for implementing the changes
• Ensure exceptional quality of all ingredients, preparation and plating of food

It is a MUST that you meet the following:

• 5+ years’ experience in International Cuisines, preferably in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Experience managing a kitchen team, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a collaborative environment
• Event Catering Expertise - Experience in both seated events and buffet-style service
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to work around the strict dietary requirements of the family
• Cultural Awareness - Knowledge of global food trends and the ability to blend flavors from different cultures
• Pressure Management - Experience in high-pressure environments
• Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times

Start date: Before January 2025
Working Days: 6 days a week
Working Hours: 8 hours a day (must be flexible)
Holiday/leave: 30 days per year
Salary: $6,000 per month
