Our UHNW client, with a residence in Chelsea, is looking for a Live-out Private Chef to prepare lunch and dinner primarily for two family members, but occasionally three, in addition to any guests she has.

This is a busy household as the Principal runs her business from home, and flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude are key.  Occasionally you may be required to work 6-7 days, but there are always opportunities for downtime as the Principal travels quite a lot.

Healthy Mediterranean, Japanese, and Asian cuisines are family favourites, and the Principal is looking for someone who is creative with lots of ideas, flair and passion for their work, and who can provide recommendations based on seasonality of produce.  The Principal is looking for a healthy, varied diet with fresh ingredients and gluten-free.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Preparation of lunch and dinner
• Catering for regular small business lunches, occasional dinner parties and family events
• Keeping the kitchen clean and maintaining high levels of hygiene
• Stocking the fridge and pantry in conjunction with the Butler
• Purchasing fresh ingredients and groceries daily in person and online
• Working with the wider household team (EA, Butler, Housekeeper, Driver) to provide an exceptional level of service

It is a MUST that you possess the following:

• Candidates should be at ease in a family environment, and have a solid background in Private Households (minimum of 3 years)
• Experience of Mediterranean, Asian, and Japanese style cuisine in particular, but with lots of ideas and enthusiasm
• Must be legally able to work in UK to apply for this role
• Flexibility with working hours and days to suit the family’s schedule
• Be pet and child friendly

Location: Chelsea
Start Date: ASAP
Working days: Usually 5 days, flexibility is required according to the Principal’s schedule
Working hours: Approx. 11.00am-11.00pm as a guide, however finish time will not always be late, for example if the principal dines out
Salary:  £60,000-£80,000 DOE but willing to pay more for an exceptional candidate
