Our clients are seeking a kind, flexible and nurturing Maternity Nanny to assist a first-time mother in Wapping, London. The family are expecting their baby around the end of June and are looking for someone to offer gentle, supportive care as they navigate the early weeks and months of parenthood.

Role Details:

• Location: Wapping, London
• Start Date: June 2025 (around baby’s due date)
• Live-Out Position
• Part-Time
• Flexible schedule: A few hours a day (2–3 hours), adaptable to the family’s needs
• Temporary position: Likely for the first few months post-birth
• Salary: Please present expectations

Duties Include:

• Providing postnatal support, especially with breastfeeding assistance and encouragement
• Helping mum around the home during recovery (light tidying, helping with baby essentials)
• Supporting a calm and restful atmosphere – any experience with mindfulness, meditation, or sleep routines would be a bonus
• Offering practical guidance and reassurance as needed
• Working alongside the family cleaner (they are arranging regular cleaning support)

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

• Warm, calm, and friendly
• Flexible and happy to adapt hours/schedule as needed
• Experienced with newborns and postnatal care
• Respectful of the family’s cultural background (Chinese) - any knowledge is a bonus
• Supportive of breastfeeding and respectful of the mum’s approach to early parenting
