Job Specification: Part-Time Housekeeper

Family Details: Busy family of 3 (2 children aged 6 and 7, plus a family-friendly dog)

Job Overview:

A busy family in Richmond is seeking a reliable and child-friendly Part-time Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper to help manage their household.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a family environment with children and a dog.

The role involves general housekeeping tasks, occasional babysitting, and light pet care.  Accommodation is provided in a self-contained studio on the family’s property.

Key Responsibilities:

• General housekeeping duties (cleaning, tidying)
• Laundry and linen care
• Changing bed linens
• Organising and decluttering cupboards and storage spaces
• Running occasional errands (grocery shopping etc)
• Occasional babysitting when needed
• Dog walking and caring for the family pet

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday - client is happy to be flexible with days if needed
• Minimum of 30 hours per week

Accommodation:

• Separate, self-contained studio on the family property - partners & cats may be considered (not suitable for dogs)

Hourly Rate: £20GPH= £600GPW, additional hours to be paid as overtime
