Our client, in Central London, is seeking a Live-out PA / Secretary to the family.  The role is based in London but might involve some travels.

The principal is a passionate car enthusiast with an extensive and diverse automobile collection spanning multiple countries.  A dedicated Auto Portfolio Team, based in Dubai and Jeddah, manages the collection and its logistics.  This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual to assist in coordinating the principal’s automotive interests whilst also providing guidance and support to household staff.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily household operations, ensuring seamless communication between the staff and the principal
  • Ensure that the principal’s lifestyle preferences, schedules, and requirements are met with discretion and efficiency
  • Keep the principal informed about upcoming car events, exhibitions, and auctions in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East
  • Liaise with the Auto Portfolio Team to arrange the principal’s participation in selected events, ensuring smooth logistics, travel arrangements, and necessary preparations
  • Research and provide insights on potential acquisitions, investment opportunities, and rare automobiles that align with the principal’s collection interests
  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and coordination related to vehicle transportation, maintenance, and restorations
  • Act as a Governess to a team of live-in Butlers, offering guidance, support, and training to ensure high standards of service

Candidate requirements:

  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience in event planning, logistics coordination, or working within luxury automotive or household management
  • Familiarity with high-end automobile brands, auctions, and collector car events is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with international teams and professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Amicable hands-on team player with great people skills, and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ideally experience working within a similar role for an UHNW family
  • Loyal and hardworking with a calm demeanour
  • Excellent time-management and people skills – able to build strong rapport with colleagues

Working days and hours: typically, a Monday to Friday role, working 40 hours per week but with an element of flexibility depending on the project requirements/family being in residence
