An international family of five with three children aged 4.5, 9 & 11 are seeking a part-time Mother's Help every afternoon/evening Monday to Friday to care for their children.

Working alongside a full-time Housekeeper, the family are looking for someone who is energetic and fun, who shows strong initiative and can act as both a carer and companion to the children whilst developing a friendly relationship with them.

The role will include school runs, helping with homework, organising uniform for the next day, suggesting activities, and contributing positively to the children’s development.  The family have four small dogs so you must be dog friendly, be happy to babysit as required (extra pay), be prepared to potentially travel with the family on family holidays, and assist in the kitchen by preparing healthy snacks for the children and family-friendly, healthy meals.  You will be a flexible person with good initiative and experience in an upmarket household.

This role will be required throughout the year.

Responsibilities to include, but not be limited to:

• Caring for three children, shared care with occasional sole charge, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
• Supporting school work, supervising homework, preparing uniform and fostering an excellent relationship to school activities and learning
• School run and taking the children to/from activities when required
• Running errands, eg dry cleaning, post office
• Basic cooking or assistance in the kitchen
• Occasional babysitting duties (extra pay)
• Occasional travel with the family abroad

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience with similar aged children
• Proven knowledge and experience of EYFS teaching
• Basic healthy cooking skills
• Driver with clean UK driving licence, car can be provided
• Preferably fluent spoken and written English
• Ability to follow instruction and family’s preferences
• Cheerful and willing disposition
• Good initiative
• Well experienced and discreet
• Good time management
• Organised and self-motivated
• Dog friendly
• Valid Passport and able to travel internationally with ease
• Current DBS check – willing to initiate new one
• Non Smoker
• References essential

Hours: 2.00pm-8.00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £15.00 net per hour
