A warm and welcoming family, recently relocated from the USA, are seeking a highly experienced Maternity Nanny to provide support with their 3-month-old baby.  This is initially a one-month position with the possibility of becoming permanent.  The role involves working closely with the mother, offering guidance and assistance where needed while ensuring the baby’s development, routine, and care are well supported.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing expert guidance and support to the mother as needed
• Assisting with establishing sleep and feeding routines
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
• Maintaining the baby’s hygiene, including nappy changes and bathing
• Preparing and sterilising bottles, supporting feeding (breastfeeding/bottle-feeding)
• Monitoring the baby’s well-being, and recognising developmental milestones
• Ensuring a calm, nurturing, and structured environment
• Offering advice on best childcare practices if required

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Maternity Nanny, particularly with newborns
• A strong understanding of infant development and routines
• Supportive and adaptable approach to assisting first-time mothers
• Paediatric First Aid certification and up-to-date DBS check
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanour
• Previous experience in high-profile or fully staffed households is beneficial

Contract: Temporary (1 month initially, potential to extend)
Hours: 9.00am – 6.00pm (flexible to starting later and finishing later)
