A lovely family of four based in Chelsea are seeking a Live-out Laundress to assist with the maintenance and organisation of their wardrobes.

The family consist of two adults and two school aged children – you will be working alongside a Housekeeper.

Duties include:

• Laundry of all of the family’s clothing – including delicate fabrics as necessary
• Coordinating with what is required to be dry cleaned
• Ironing
• Packing and unpacking
• Seasonal wardrobe rotation – there is a storage unit close by
• Maintaining a photographic inventory of the family’s garments/shoes/accessories
• Alterations and repairs 
• Maintenance and care for shoes and accessories
• Ad hoc assistance with housekeeping if the Housekeeper is absent

Candidate requirements:

• Experienced and passionate about the duties required of a Laundress
• Friendly, kind and sunny presence within the household – good communication skills
• Energetic and dedicated
• Organised with a great attention to detail

Working days: Monday to Friday OR Monday to Thursday with a Saturday – Friday and Sunday off
Working hours: 8-9 hours per day
Salary: £38,000-£40,000 gross per annum
