Our client, with a Grade 1 listed property close to Basingstoke in Hampshire, is seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of this beautiful property.

The property has 10 bedrooms, and is set in grounds with outbuildings – there is another Housekeeper along with a team of Gardeners and Maintenance Staff.

Duties include:

• All aspects of hands-on high-level housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, and organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Polishing and care of surfaces such as granite and marble, along with silver and brass
• Care of antiques and artwork
• Flower arranging using cut flowers from the Estate
• General re-setting of the property as the residence is often used over weekends
• Ad-hoc duties/errands

Candidate requirements:

• Detail-oriented, hardworking, and experienced working within a private household
• Knowledgeable of the care of fine and delicate surfaces and materials
• Driver with own car due to the location of the property
• Team player, professional, and friendly

Working days: Monday to Thursday – occasional flexibility required
Working days: 8.00am–4.00pm / 9.00am–5.00pm
Salary: £TBC - self-employed
