Our client, with two apartments – one in Central London and the other in North London (Golder’s Green), is seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of both homes.

The principal uses both apartments intermittently – usually for around a week at a time every 5-8 weeks.  You will be the sole member of staff in both properties so it is essential you can work to your own initiative to ensure the standards are maintained.

Duties include:

• All aspects of general housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, and organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Deep cleaning
• Maintaining supplies within the properties
• Cooking when the client is in residence – breakfast & dinner

The apartment in Central London is smaller – just one bedroom with ensuite and an office, living/kitchen area, and bathroom.  In North London the property is larger – 2 beds, 3 baths, cinema room, office, kitchen, living/dining room.

Knowledge of Eastern European cooking would be desirable but not essential.

Working days/hours when the principal is not in residence: 3 days per week – 1 day in Central London, 2 days in North London, hours depending on the tasks required.  You will be responsible for managing your own time.

Working days/hours when the principal is in residence: 7 days per week, usually for only about one week at a time, approx. 10-12 hours per day depending on the requirements of the principal.

Salary: £45,000 gross per annum
