A British family are seeking a Portuguese/English speaking House Manager/PA to work at the family residence in Portugal.

Duties include, not limited to:

• Overseeing general household upkeep, including maintenance services
• Sourcing and managing reliable service providers
• Handling bills, subscriptions, and other household paperwork
• Managing visitors, service providers, and deliveries
• Coordinating household schedules, booking appointments (medical, beauty, car servicing etc)
• Familiarity with smart home technology and app-controlled systems
• Occasional travel required, primarily responsible for household management in the owner’s absence
• Responsible for pet care, including feeding and walking
• Providing occasional support with childcare
• Managing errands such as shopping and dry cleaning
• Assisting with online purchases and orders
• Coordinating with a remote assistant and providing regular updates

Essential Candidate requirements:

• Fluent Portuguese and English speaking
• Hold an EU Passport or have the legal rights to live/work in Portugal
• Provides attention to detail and can work to high standards
• Previous private house experience and within a fully staffed residence
• Highly organised, proactive and can manage their workload effectively
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience working with both children and animals

Working days/hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, flexibility is required to work occasional weekends

Location: Based in a fully staffed household in Cascais

Salary: Circa €50,000
