Our clients, based in the Bahamas, are looking for a Tutor to teach their three children aged 12, 10, and 6 after school.

A good communicator and team player is key, as this is a fully staffed household and the Tutor will be required to coordinate with the school in regards to the children’s learning.

The family are looking for a fluent English speaker with a strong academic background, preferably from a tier one British or International University. Previous teaching experience is essential, ideally with children of similar ages - private tutoring experience would be desirable but is not mandatory.

The role involves occasional travel and requires someone pet-friendly, as the family might get a dog soon. UHNW experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the children’s learning
  • Supervising the children’s homework and after-school reading
  • Helping the children prepare for tests
  • Liaising with the children’s school
  • Manage education related activities
  • Travel with the family on some of their holidays

It is a MUST that you meet the following:

  • Strong academic background
  • Teaching experience
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Happy to travel

Contract Length: Permanent (initial 12-month contract)
Location: Bahamas
Start Date: ASAP
Children: Three children aged 12, 10, 6

Working Days:  Monday to Thursday and Sunday (Friday and Saturday off)
Working hours: Circa 3.5 hours per day
Accommodation: Separate, hotel standard accommodation (private bedroom and bathroom)

Salary: Excellent (please present expectation)
