Our client, based in Melbourne, is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic Maternity Nurse for their first new-born baby due early June, 2024.  

Duties include,  but not limited to:

  • Assisting the family with all tasks for the baby
  • Feeding, bathing, nappy changing, sleep time routines
  • Tidying the nursery
  • Taking the baby to appointments  

Candidate requirements: 

  • For visa reasons strictly ONLY UK (age 18-35) or EU (age 18-30) passport holders
  • Fully qualified Maternity Nurse 
  • Certification in Infant CPR and First Aid
  • At least 5 years of experience caring for newborns, as this is the first child for the mother
  • Highly engaged, present, and dedicated to creating and maintaining a loving environment for all
  • Excellent communication and works well with a fully staffed household 
  • Holiday travel to destinations such as Europe, Singapore, Maldives, and within Australia
  • A licensed driver 

Working Schedule: Mixture of shared care and sole charge; full time including reasonable additional hours (estimated to be 45 hours per week); predominantly daytime hours, as a night nurse will also be employed. 
Location: Toorak, Australia 
Accommodation: From December 2024, the Nanny will have their own quarters equipped with a private kitchenette, living area and laundry; up until December Nanny will have a private bedroom
Start-date: May, 2024
Duration: 6 months to start, on a Working Holiday Visa, with an option, and the intention, to extend
