Our client, with a large, formal estate in the Scottish Highlands, is seeking a live-in Housekeeper to join their team.

The role involves overseeing two properties. The main residence has 10 bedrooms, whilst the secondary property has 14 bedrooms.  The secondary house is to be cleaned once every 1-2 weeks, as the family only spends 3-4 weeks there annually.

Candidate duties, to include but not limited to:

• Maintaining the property to a high standard year-round, regardless of whether the family is in residence
• All general housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning
• Laundry and ironing duties
• Occasional driving when the family are in residence
• Light cooking/meal preparation on occasion

Ideal candidate:

• At least 3 years working within a similar HNW environment
• Capable of managing your time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed
• A team player, as you will be working with 2 other Housekeepers as well as other staff
• A driver with a clean licence would be a huge plus as the estate is relatively remote; you may also be asked to drive in the absence of the family’s Drivers
• Culinary skills are a plus, however not essential

Start date: As soon as possible
Working days: Monday – Friday when the family are out of residence; when they are in residence, weekends may also be required (flexibility is required)
Working hours: 45 hours per week, being flexible as required
Accommodation: A private two bedroom lodge
Holiday allowance: 20 days plus bank holidays
Salary: £35,000 per annum
