Our client based in Norfolk is seeking a confident, experienced Housekeeper to start by September.

The main responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and care of the Grade I listed residence which has 12 bedrooms, although only one used on a regular basis.

There are 2 Gardeners who tend to the grounds.  There is no other staff as their current Housekeeper is about to retire.

The female principal stays regularly.  However, the home is used more during the weekends with the male principals staying with occasional guests too.

The family have 3 dogs - you will need to look after them when the family are away. The property includes about 60 acres so you won't have to walk them as such but will need to let them out regularly and make sure they return safely.

Driver is a MUST due to location - car can be provided for work purposes.

Duties will also include:

• All housekeeping
• Laundry
• Ironing
• Greeting of guests
• Flower arranging

Excellent housekeeping skills, preferably good spoken English, and someone who enjoys country living in Norfolk and is looking for a long-term role. 

Salary: up to £40,000 GPA - there is annual performance based reviews

Accommodation: a lovely separate 2 bedroom cottage on the Estate with private garden - just a short walk to the main residence
