Our clients are seeking a friendly but professional Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to help run their beautiful period Georgian residence in West Berkshire.  The residence is situated in an idyllic and rural setting, 50 miles from London.

The experienced Housekeeper/Cook will be enthusiastic, energetic, and accomplished.  They will enjoy working as a team to run a small, well-maintained family estate with landscaped gardens and adjoining working farm.

Housekeeper duties include, but not limited to:

• Full housekeeping duties, including laundry
• Preparation and cooking
• Helping with fruit and veg picking
• Animal care (chickens and 1 dog)

Candidate requirements:

• Trustworthy
• Reliable
• Proactive and happy to get stuck in
• Non-smokers
• Drive with full clean driving licence(s)
• English speaking preferred
• Excellent references essential

Accommodation: Modern 1-bed, 1-bath independent accommodation nearby to the estate included with private access, which is next to the farm manager’s family accommodation. Note, the location is peaceful and very rural. All bills paid (bar food) including rates, internet, council tax.

Days and Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm. Flexibility to work occasional weekend when required.

Salary: circa £35,000 GPA

Start Date: February/March 2025
