Our client, a couple with a beautiful property in Chelsea, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper/Cook to oversee the smooth running of their household.

The couple are seeking an energetic, experienced individual with good knowledge of all aspects of housekeeping (including laundry) who is able to follow recipes to prepare simple but tasty nutritious meals.

Duties include:

• All aspects of housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Wardrobe management
• Packing and unpacking – the couple travel often
• Stock management of household supplies and groceries
• Periodic deep cleans
• Daily cooking
• Occasional pet care (dog – friendly, well trained German Shepherd)

The couple’s daughter lives close by and on some occasions some assistance in her residence may also be needed.

Candidate requirements:

• Dynamic, hardworking, energetic, and conscientious
• Proven longevity in similar private household positions
• The ability to potentially travel with the clients on occasion in the future (planned in advance)
• Pet friendly and comfortable with dogs
• Able to work harmoniously alongside the House Manager but manage own time & tasks efficiently

Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 7.00am–6.00pm with breaks/down-time during the day
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 GPA
