Our client, with a beautiful property in Norfolk, is seeking a Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of this immaculate home.

This property is stunning – recently finishing an extensive renovation.  Candidates applying must have top level experience and knowledge, and the ability to manage their time efficiently.

Duties include:

• All aspects of hands-on housekeeping
• Management of the Cleaners employed
• Cooking – up to 6 people, 3-course meals – confident cooking in an Aga (simple, tasty, wholesome meals)
• Laundry and ironing
• Care of fine fabrics, furnishings, and surfaces
• Shopping and maintaining stocks within the household
• Running errands
• Ad-hoc duties as required

Candidate requirements:

• Experience working within a similar private household environment
• Management experience
• Knowledgeable on all cleaning methods / treatment of surfaces, furnishings, and fabrics
• Confident Cook with ability to cook on an Aga
• Energetic, forward thinking, organised, and discreet

Working days: 5 days per week, occasional weekends

Working hours: 9.00am–5.00pm with some flexibility

Accommodation: private cottage on the estate – pets welcome

Salary: £55,000 gross per annum
