HOUSEHOLD COUPLE WANTED FOR STATELY HOME IN CYPRUS

We are looking for a live-in, long-term oriented, reliable, and discreet Couple to be the caretakers of an occasionally occupied, third home of a prominent, ultra-high net worth family of two, with occasional visits by their children and grandchildren.  It is unlikely that in the foreseeable future the property would be occupied for more than 90 days per annum.

The position involves full responsibility for taking care of, and running, the technically sophisticated home to preserve its value while the family is absent, as well as cooking and stewarding duties when the family is in residence.

The position is based in a sought-after Cyprus location, and is to look after a stately, four bedroom house, with well-developed common and health/fitness facilities. The position is live-in, with accommodation provided comprising an en-suite bedroom located within the lower ground floor of the property, with a dedicated separate entrance.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

• Twice a week full cleaning, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, linen change etc
• Daily tidying up and light cleaning
• Keeping stock and re-stocking cleaning supplies and utensils as required
• Washing up and kitchen cleaning
• Wardrobe care: laundry, hand-washing delicate fabrics, cleaning, ironing, shoe care and polishing
• Packing/unpacking etc
• Minor garden maintenance and liaising with a contracted Gardener for the grounds upkeep, if required
• Dealing with alarms/security and overseeing builders/tradespeople for minor works if required
• Some food shopping for daily groceries if required
• Accounting/general admin for the property
• Cooking for the family while in residence; Russian and Italian cuisine is preferred
• Chauffeuring - one of the Couple must hold a valid EU driving licence

There is unlikely to be any travel involved with the family, and the Couple will be entitled to 4 weeks' paid annual leave per annum (a reasonable arrangement, especially with regard to security, has to be arranged by the Couple for their holidays). It cannot be guaranteed that any vacation time would be allowed for Easter or Christmas.

Fluent English speakers are preferred, and it may be likely that uniforms will be required and provided for.

Salary circa €3,500 per person DOE negotiable
