We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Family Trainer to provide personalised fitness and wellness programs for a multi-generational family in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Trainer will design and implement comprehensive fitness routines tailored to the needs of family members, including grandparents (aged 63), parents (aged 37), and young children (5 years old and 2-year-old twins). The role will focus on strength training, resistance exercises, stability, core work, cardiovascular fitness, nutrition guidance, and recovery strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored fitness plans for each family member based on their age, fitness level, and personal health goals
  • Integrate a variety of training techniques, including strength training, resistance exercises, stability work, core strengthening, and cardiovascular conditioning
  • Design engaging and age-appropriate exercises for young children to promote motor skill development and physical activity
  • Introduce low-impact exercises for senior members to enhance mobility, balance, and flexibility
  • Provide expert guidance on nutrition and dietary habits aligned with the family’s fitness objectives
  • Educate family members on proper hydration and meal planning for optimal performance and recovery
  • Implement effective recovery techniques, including stretching routines and relaxation practices, to support overall well-being
  • Facilitate engaging group workouts to encourage family bonding through fitness
  • Organise inclusive activities such as family yoga sessions, light outdoor exercises, or interactive movement-based games
  • Conduct regular fitness assessments, such as strength evaluations or body composition analysis, to track progress
  • Continuously adapt and refine training programs to ensure sustainable progress and long-term health benefits
  • Ensure that all exercises are performed safely, minimising the risk of injury
  • Foster a positive and motivating environment to encourage consistency and enthusiasm in fitness routines
  • Educate family members on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field
  • Certified Personal Trainer from a recognised organisation (eg, ACE, NASM, ISSA)
  • Specialised certifications in areas such as senior fitness, child fitness, or nutrition are highly desirable
  • CPR/AED certification is mandatory

  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse age groups, including seniors and young children
  • Strong expertise in anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and nutrition
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all family members
  • Patient and adaptable to cater to varying fitness levels and needs
  • Creative in designing fun and interactive workouts for children
  • Strong organisational skills to manage schedules and ensure consistency in training routines
  • High energy level with a positive and encouraging attitude to inspire the family
