A wonderful opportunity is available for an experienced and friendly Domestic Couple to provide Guardianship for a beautiful 5-bedroom property in Henley-on-Thames.  The residence is surrounded by gardens, woodland, and ponds.

The professional, but discreet Couple will be required to travel occasionally with the family to international destinations, as well as locations in the UK.

Whilst the main principals stay at the residence once or twice a year, usually for a few days during the school holidays, the grandmother lives on the estate in her own property.

Maintenance/Handyman Duties required, not limited to:

• Managing & overseeing contractors
• Handyman/DIY duties
• Light repairs
• Driving duties, driving the grandmother to appointments and shopping
• Providing security
• Swimming pool and tennis court maintenance
• Jet washing
• Window cleaning
• General ad hoc duties
• Animal care, dog and chickens

Housekeeper Duties required, not limited to:

• Daily cleaning of all rooms to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• Washing, mopping, and vacuuming
• Preparing for the arrival and departure of family members & guests
• Cleaning the grandmother’s residence throughout once a week
• Providing the grandmother with companionship
• Animal care as above

Couple Requirements:

• Flexible, amenable with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to use initiative but also happy to follow instruction
• Full, clean driving licence
• No pets or children 
• A Couple with previous private yacht experience would be desirable

Accommodation: A beautiful spacious 1-bedroom apartment in the wing of the residence. Utilities included.

Days of work: Thursday – Monday (days off - Tuesday and Wednesdays).  Longer hours required when the principals are in residence.

Salary: Live-in: £85,000 DOE + discretionary annual bonus
