We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Domestic Couple to manage the day-to-day operations of our clients' 13-acre beautiful estate in South Buckinghamshire.  As mostly empty nesters, the principals require a reliable and proactive Couple to ensure the smooth running of their 7-bedroom home, outbuildings, and surrounding grounds. The role involves a mix of housekeeping, maintenance, gardening, pet care, occasional driving, and light cooking duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping & maintenance
• Regular cleaning and upkeep of the residence and outbuildings
• General maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of the property
• Overseeing and coordinating with external contractors, such as plumbers and builders, as required
• Garden Maintenance: There is weekly team of Gardeners, so substantial help is provided
• Light gardening duties including mowing, weeding, and tidying of the grounds
• Supporting the existing gardening team with additional tasks as needed
• Driving & Chauffeur Duties: occasional driving and chauffeur responsibilities, including transporting the family to appointments or events
• Pet Care: Daily care of two small, friendly dogs, including feeding, walking, and general care
• Pet sitting when the family is away (TOIL will be credited if pet sitting at weekends)
• Cooking: Preparing occasional meals for the family, especially during busy periods or when entertaining guests

Weekend Work & Flexibility:

• While the role is primarily Monday to Friday, flexibility for occasional weekend work is appreciated

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Domestic Couple in a similar role
• Strong housekeeping and general maintenance skills
• Basic gardening knowledge and a willingness to assist with garden upkeep
• A valid clean UK driver’s licence and 5+ years driving experience
• Ability to manage pets with care and affection
• Basic cooking skills, with the ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage external contractors
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied tasks and occasional weekend work
• Non smokers

Accommodation:

• A separate, fully equipped 1-bedroom bungalow is provided for the Domestic Couple, including a kitchen, lounge, dining area, and bathroom

Salary: £60,000+
