Our clients are seeking a professional and friendly Live-in Domestic Couple for their beautiful 5-bedroom residence in Surrey.

The Couple will share the responsibility of maintaining the house and grounds (the principals also have a Gardener).

The informal country home, which sits on 16 acres and has several outbuildings, is 8 miles from Guildford and on the border of West Sussex.

Either the Housekeeper or the Houseman can cook

Duties required, not limited to:

• Occasional cooking simple meals for owner if female principal is away
• Housekeeping/cleaning twice a week
• Occasional errands
• Care of house plants
• Wash and iron kitchen linens
• Wash dog and cat blankets and towels
• Collect and drop off bedroom linens to be laundered
• Gardening
• Cleaning of small garage flat
• Cleaning exterior/interior garages and outbuildings
• Maintenance of the property, call and arrange outside contractors for schedule maintenance and repairs
• Look after two cats while owner is away
• Occasionally look after their dog when the principals go to London
• Airport runs
• Grounds upkeep and repairs
• Vehicle maintenance

Couple requirements:

• Have 5 years plus experience working in a similar role (will consider couples just starting)
• Flexible, amenable with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, team players
• Enjoys preparing meals (a professional background in cooking is not required)
• Able to use initiative and common sense
• Animal friendly and enjoys the company of dogs/cats
• Driver with full clean driving licence
• Take pride in their work and work to high standards
• A Couple with no pets is preferred

Accommodation: A beautiful 2-bedroom separate cottage on the estate with own private garden. A car will be provided for work use

Days of work: Monday - Friday. Days off in lieu will be provided for any weekend days worked

Hours: 9.00am–5.00pm (with some flexibility)

Start Date: February/March 2025

Salary: £70,000-£80,000
