Our clients are seeking a proactive and friendly Live-in Domestic Couple for their stunning 7-bedroom residence in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.

The home is surrounded by 90 acres of beautiful land, including 10-12 acres of garden. The ideal Couple will be proactive, hands-on, and excellent team players.

Accommodation is provided in a charming 2-bedroom cottage on the estate.

Duties:

Housekeeper:

• General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of all living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate fabrics
• Managing household supplies and inventory
• Assisting with cooking on a flexible basis (not required every day)
• Overseeing the care and cleaning of household pets (providing care for the dog when principals are travelling)
• Running errands and undertaking other duties as required

Groundsperson/Gardener:

• Assisting the full-time and part-time Gardeners in maintaining the estate’s grounds
• General gardening duties including planting, weeding, pruning, and mowing
• Maintenance of lawns, flowerbeds, and borders
• Care and maintenance of the swimming pool
• Assisting with the upkeep of pathways, driveways, and other outdoor areas
• Operation and maintenance of garden machinery and tools
• General handyperson duties and maintenance of outdoor structures and furniture

OR

Personal Assistant (PA): (instead of a Groundsperson)

• Managing household administration and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
• Coordinating with service providers and contractors for household maintenance and repairs
• Organising and maintaining household records and files
• Assisting with household budgeting and expense tracking
• Planning and coordinating events and gatherings
• Running errands and undertaking other duties as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in similar roles within a private household or estate
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff
• Proactive, hands-on, and flexible approach to work
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
• Pet-friendly attitude is essential

Benefits:

• Salary of £70,000 per annum
