An informal family of five, with three young, energetic children, based in Kensington, London, is looking for a proactive, experienced Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper to join their friendly household team of five (including a Cook/Housekeeper, two Nannies, and a part-time Cleaner).

You will take lead responsibility for maintaining the home to a high standard - managing cleaning and laundry, coordinating with team members and external contractors, overseeing household supplies, and occasionally stepping in with light cooking or table service when needed. You will also supervise the part-time cleaner and help ensure the home runs smoothly day to day.

Key Requirements

• Extensive housekeeping experience in private households
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Energetic and comfortable around children
• Discreet, trustworthy, and highly organised
• Happy to oversee household supplies, liaise with contractors, and take initiative
• Occasional cooking, table setting, and light meal support when needed
• Willing to travel occasionally and assist with trip preparation
• DBS checked (or willing to obtain) – food hygiene/health & safety certification is a plus

Accommodation: Separate living area for this role within the house (including a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and terrace).

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday - 8am–6pm
• Friday - 10am–8pm (with flexibility)
