Our client, with a beautiful newly renovated property in Buckinghamshire (approx. 10 miles from Towcester), is seeking a Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their family home.  The property remains under refurbishment but the family will be moving into the completed 'half' very soon.

If applying on a live-out basis it’s important you are living within a commutable distance to the property.

Duties include:

• All aspects of housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising, dusting, mopping etc.
• Laundry and ironing
• Organisation of wardrobes & assistance with packing for family holidays
• Running errands – pharmacy, post office, dry cleaners, shopping etc.
• Occasional childcare (planned in advance and just afternoons/evenings – not for extended periods, paid as overtime)

There is a dog and 2 cats living within the residence too so it’s essential you are comfortable around pets.

Candidate requirements:

• Warm, smiley and professional with a pleasant child-friendly attitude
• Happy to follow direction and learn the preferences of the family
• Aware of the boundaries that come with working in a private family residence but likewise are polite and laid back – this is an informal household
• Must be a driver with your own car due to the location of the property
• Knowledgeable, hardworking and trustworthy

Working days: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Accommodation: Separate 1 bedroom fully furnished flat – partners and pets considered on a case-by-case basis

Salary: £18.00 gross per hour
