Our client, with an Estate in Norfolk, is seeking a Groundsman/Butler to join their team of household staff.

Duties include:

• Care/maintenance for the 10-acre garden
• General pruning, mowing, tending to vegetables etc
• Butler service duties during the shoot seasons (Nov – Feb)
• Running errands
• Car cleaning
• Ad hoc household maintenance duties such as some light decorating/mending/polishing
• Occasional driving duties

Candidate requirements:

• Experienced working both as a Groundskeeper/Gardener as well as within a residence as a Butler
• Well-rounded knowledge of the day-to-day running of a private household – able and willing to help out where needed
• Good attitude with a friendly and professional personality
• Knowledge of wines would be a bonus but not essential
• Happy to do some travel within the UK to the family’s other properties if required
• Full driving licence

Working days: Monday to Friday - the residence is only used by the family during shoot seasons where longer hours & flexible working days will be required, time given back in lieu
Salary: circa £40,000 gross per annum – negotiable
