Our UHNW client, who has a country house residence based in Norfolk, is seeking a highly professional traditional Butler to join their team.  You will be responsible for providing exceptional personalised service to the principal and guests.

This is a Live-in position with accommodation provided.  This role is 5 days a week, Monday – Friday.  However, there will be occasions where weekend work will be necessary.  If this is the case then days off in lieu will be given.

The right candidate must be hands-on, flexible, and adaptable in nature.

Duties include:

• Meeting and greeting guests
• Clock care/regular winding is essential for this role (this can be taught by a professional)
• Laying of fires is essential
• Lunch and some Dinner services
• Organising and running of events
• Drink service
• Wine cellar management
• Creation and updating of inventories
• Be the main point of contact for the principal in operations and movements
• Silver, Crystal, and China care
• Running errands and shopping
• Collaborating and liaising with household staff
• UK driving licence is preferred for this role
• Valeting skills would be preferable

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Days: 5 days a week
Hours: 9.00am–5.00pm but hours will vary depending on the requirements of the principal
